Poster Contest

The Safety Education Committee is pleased to announce a Safety Poster Contest. The objective is to build awareness for safety in the competitive swimming environment. We are asking athletes to come up with their original poster designs and create a poster about safety in the pool (competition or training); open water (competition or training) or dryland training. Details about the contest are attached.

Please send your entries to Matt Wagner ( irondad7@hotmail.com ). All entries must be received by the LSC by May 15, 2012.

Get creative and think Safety! All entries at the LSC level will receive a specially designed Deck Pass Patch; each LSC winner will receive a specially designed USA Swimming London Olympic commemorative pin. The top 10 entries will receive USA Swimming merchandise with the grand prize winner receiving a $250 gift certificate from Kiefer Swim Shop.

Short and Long Course Meet Bids Due by February 15, 2012

Teams wishing to host meets during the 2012 - 2013 Short Course and Long Course seasons must submit bids to Gulf Swimming no later than February 15, 2012.  Preference may be given to the earliest bids.

Please submit your bid forms by email to the Technical Planning Committee Chairman.    Please do not change the file format of the bid; save it in the original Word format.

Gulf Camps

Both camps are full and no further applications will be accepted.
